Job Description:

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services team seeks an experienced SIGINT Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) to cultivate long-term partnerships with large government organizations, primarily focused on Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and national security missions. The ESM will lead transformative cloud strategies, guide Professional Services initiatives, and oversee complex projects across customer accounts.

The role demands expertise in IT consulting, cloud resilience, and business transformation, along with the ability to develop trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders. This is a hands-on role, requiring presence in the office or at customer sites at least one day per week. Remote work is not available for this position.

Security Requirement: Candidates must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, with the ability to opt into additional agency-specific clearances as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term cloud strategies tailored to large, distributed government organizations.
  • Engage with customers to understand their mission goals, application portfolios, and business drivers.
  • Shape and negotiate complex deals, including estimation, pricing, and contracting.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline while ensuring successful delivery of projects aligned with customer needs.
  • Oversee project portfolios, managing budgets, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer executives, fostering trustful and collaborative relationships.
  • Educate stakeholders on AWS services, presenting clear business value propositions.
  • Inspire customers with vision-driven strategies and solutions.
  • Coordinate efforts across AWS product, technology, and service partners to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coach customer and partner teams to achieve self-sufficiency in solution implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of IT consulting/management experience, including business transformation and customer-facing roles.
  • Proven experience with Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), cloud resilience, and technical solution design for national security missions.
  • Demonstrated success in account engagement, sales pipeline management, and complex deal execution.
  • Current active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or MBA degree (preferred, not required).
  • Experience developing contracts, statements of work, and enterprise IT management frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
  • Broad expertise in enterprise technology systems such as IaaS, SAP, Oracle, and custom applications.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards for national security missions.
  • Established network within the National Security community.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Pay: $138,200–$239,000/year (varies by geographic location and experience).
