Job Overview:

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to assist the U.S. Navy in supporting the CAC2S Program at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Expeditionary C3I and Cyber Division. This position involves managing logistics support for the program, specifically the C2 Integration Branch under the Joint Special Operations Response Department. The ideal candidate will have experience in acquisition logistics and be adept in using inventory management systems and tools to track, maintain, and report on material usage and procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:

    • Use logistics tools such as Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), and SharePoint to track inventory, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
    • Manage inventory through systems like Navy Registry and DOD Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Procurement Support:

    • Assist in the procurement process by filling out required forms, requesting Unique Material Master (UMM) numbers, and tracking purchases.
    • Monitor progress and provide updates using spreadsheets and databases.
  • Material Usage & Forecasting:

    • Track material usage and set reorder levels based on input from lab leadership.
    • Assist in forecasting annual requirements and demand using historical and current data.
  • Asset Management & Maintenance:

    • Support the receipt of Airborne Electro-Optics/IR or similar assets, schedule maintenance, and track asset returns using standard shipping and maintenance management systems.
  • Reporting:

    • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to provide updated status of transactions and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in acquisition logistics for the DoD, or Associate's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent military experience.
  • Clearance Requirement:

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (Interim Secret clearance required to start).
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Outlook).
    • Experienced with logistics database applications such as iPDM, ERP, WAWF, and SharePoint.
    • Familiarity with Navy, Army, USAF, or DOD APSR systems.
  • Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs and work for prolonged periods sitting or standing.
    • Ability to perform tasks requiring overhead reaching, stooping/kneeling, and repetitive motions.
  • Additional Attributes:

    • Ability to work independently and multi-task while supporting multiple customers.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
