Work You'll Do

As an AI Software Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate in cross-functional agile teams to design and launch innovative AI products for public sector clients.
  • Partner with full-stack engineers to create transformational AI solutions, integrating technologies like LLMs, GenAI, and text vectorization/embedding.
  • Engineer and develop software solutions using frameworks and tools such as Spring, JQuery, and application servers like Apache, Tomcat, or WildFly (JBoss).
  • Deliver cutting-edge products, meeting sprint goals alongside a team of world-class engineers.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision of Deloitte by developing products that stand out as industry leaders.

About the Team

Deloitte’s GPS AI & Data Engineering team supports all phases of analytics work, from identifying key business questions to delivering actionable insights. Using data visualization, machine learning, and statistical programming tools, we address complex challenges for federal, state, and local government clients as well as public higher education institutions.

Our experts focus on the interaction between data, business processes, and decision-makers, ensuring transformative outcomes that advance client missions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Ability to work onsite in Tampa, Florida.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Front-End React.
  • 2+ years of expertise with back-end development using Postgres.

Preferred:

  • Experience with tools and technologies like:
    • Docker, Git, Graph DB, neo4j, memgraph.
    • Cyber-based coding, datastacks, Python, OpenSearch, ElasticSearch, MongoDB.
  • Creativity and a passion for learning new technologies and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of best coding practices with a willingness to review and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Proficiency in implementing wireframes using well-structured, flexible code.
  • Experience with distributed team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools, especially Git.
