  • Acquisition Planning and Contracting: Ensure effective acquisition planning, competitive contracting, and price/cost analysis for various actions, including small business utilization.
  • Complex Contract Negotiation: Review and develop pricing arrangements, such as cost-plus incentive fees or fixed-price incentive fees, requiring sophisticated contracting techniques.
  • Oversight and Compliance: Ensure compliance with laws, policies, procedures, and regulations related to contracting.
  • Procurement Oversight: Manage and oversee procurement actions related to high-value solicitations and contracts.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Security Clearance: Must obtain and maintain a security clearance due to the national security nature of the position.
  • OGE-450 Disclosure: Required to file a financial disclosure report (OGE-450).
  • Contracting Certification: Must obtain and maintain Contracting (1102) Professional Certification.
  • Contracting Officer Position: The role requires authorization as a Contracting Officer.
