Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking highly talented Technical Consultants to accelerate our growing Professional Services business, particularly within the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC). This is an exciting opportunity to apply the latest in cloud computing technologies to solve complex technical challenges for USIC agencies, all while developing your career with one of the most innovative companies in the tech industry.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of Intelligence Community customers, helping them design, build, and implement cloud solutions that enhance their mission-critical operations. You’ll be part of AWS’s world-class technical team, collaborating with experts across various fields, developing deep expertise in cloud architectures, and contributing to industry-leading solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and Implementing AWS Cloud Solutions tailored to meet the needs of U.S. Intelligence Community customers.
  • Consulting with customers to understand their business requirements and providing guidance on application architectures, integrations, and cloud solutions.
  • Leading deep-dive technical discussions to design innovative, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Helping customers migrate legacy systems to the cloud and ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Collaborating across AWS teams to drive customer success and accelerate solution delivery.
  • Maintaining a keen understanding of security best practices, ensuring compliance with federal government standards such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Providing ongoing education and training to customers, helping them develop cloud skills and achieve long-term success.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications.
  • 1+ years of experience working with software development tools and methodologies.
  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Professional experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience with cloud migration, including transitioning legacy systems to the cloud.
  • Expertise in managing highly available data center operations, including network infrastructure, server hardware, and storage.
  • Strong understanding of federal security requirements for applications, servers, and networks (e.g., ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Experience in software consulting or sales consulting.
