Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking highly skilled technical consultants to help the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve critical technical problems. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, apply your expertise in cloud architectures, and collaborate with some of the brightest engineers in the field.

In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions tailored to the needs of the Intelligence Community, offering a unique opportunity to work on mission-critical projects that impact national security. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement AWS Cloud Solutions for the Intelligence Community, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs, designing solutions that meet their business and mission objectives.
  • Educate, train, and consult with customer teams to enhance their cloud capabilities.
  • Conduct deep-dive architecture discussions to drive technical decisions and guide clients on best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards (e.g., ICD 503, FISMA, FedRAMP).
  • Work closely with AWS product and service teams to ensure solutions are aligned with customer requirements and leverage the latest cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to innovative cloud-based solutions, driving new features and advancements in AWS offerings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications, or equivalent educational background.
  • 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and operating solutions on AWS.
  • Experience in migrating legacy systems to cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with federal government security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Experience managing data center operations for high availability, including networking, servers, and storage.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: Ranges from $118,200 to $204,300/year depending on location and experience.
