Job Title: Optics Engineering / Physics Analyst

CACI has an exciting opportunity for highly technical experts to support the engineering analysis of foreign weapon and threat systems and future technology.

Job Description:

  • Provide technical analysis on electro-optical sensor and laser systems in support of reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition missions.
  • Provide expertise in the area of electro-optical sensor and laser systems, including capabilities, developments, and advancements.
  • Support indications and warnings (I&W) of intelligence activities intended to detect and report time-sensitive intelligence information on foreign developments.
  • Analysts assigned to this task will conduct research, support written assessments, write assessments, and communicate technical information to a broad audience.
  • Analyze information from multiple sources and make engineering judgements based on limited available information.
  • Expand current research and understanding of foreign systems and capabilities to support model development and intelligence assessments.
  • Laboratory testing of optical systems and sensor platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in physics or engineering from an accredited institution.
  • We are seeking 3+ years of related experience.
  • Expertise in optical sensors, laser systems, and electro-optics.

Desired:

  • Experience developing write products and reports to support the intelligence community.

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range for this position is: $68,400-$143,700
