Linux Administrator Job Category: Service Contract Act Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and Linux Administrator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support for the classified network onboard NSWC Corona. You will also respond to tickets, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement big data enterprise solutions. Responsibilities: * Maintenance of authentication/authorization stack * Automate processes through Ansible * Deploying and maintenance of K8 platform (Openshift) and integrating the platform with DevOps stack. Provide networking assistance and support for incoming concerns and issues related to networking systems, software and hardware * Ensuring security compliance of Red Hat systems through Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and patching CVEs. * Work through the problem-solving process with employees, empowering them to do the same in the future * Run diagnostic problems to resolve problems Qualifications: Required: * Must have Red Hat Certified System Administration certificate (RHCSA) within 3 months of being hired and meet all CSWF requirements. * Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance * Must have SECURITY + certification * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must be able to work on site locally in Norco, California * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must have at least 5 years' experience performing the following. * Manage deployment, configuration, upgrades, and patch systems running RedHat Linux * Use bash shell scripting and ansible to schedule and automate processes, start and stop application stacks, backup configurations, patch/update applications, and services * Experience managing and providing redundant deployments with several native Linux services like NFS, FTP, DNS, NTP, LVM etc. * Experience and understanding Active Directory + Linux Integration. * Solid understanding of the fundamentals of providing Infrastructure as a service, Software as a service, Database as a service. * Understanding and willing to learn RedHat Openshift with the intention of being a primary point of contact for all maintenance and support related issues * Willing to learn and help deploy and maintain Elastic (application monitoring) * Install and configure monitoring tool(s) (such as Nagios, Solarwinds, etc.) to manage infrastructure. Understanding how to proactively monitor servers and application environments. * Ability to isolate issues and apply troubleshooting methodologies to repair, document and prevent issues * Manage deployment, configuration, upgrades, and patch VMWare ESXI and VCenter Server * Experience with: Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat SSO / Keycloak, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Ansible, and Red Hat Openshift. - ____________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location. Minimum Req uired Hourly Wage: $31.31 There are a host of other factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographical location, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
