Submarine Shift Test Engineer Job Category: Service Contract Act Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * CACI is seeking an Engineering Technician to support submarine maintenance related Engineering and Planning efforts at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine. What You'll Get to Do: * Develop, create and review Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs).
* Execute Work Controls
* Generate Work Authorization Forms, danger Tags boundaries, and drain/depressurization instruction
* Support 688 Class and 774 Class Submarine engineering and Deep Submergence projects You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Three (3) years' experience related to the operation and/or repair of US Naval Submarines * Previous US Navy or shipyard experience executing Work Controls * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical work documents * Ability to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a team * Well-developed interpersonal skills * Attention to detail * DOD Secret clearance Nice to have: * Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree is preferred * Familiarity with Military Specifications, ANSI and ASME standards
* Experience with configuration management and document control
* Related submarine experience with design, maintenance, operations, repair and/or testing

The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI's government contract for the work location.
