Job Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Machine Learning Solutions Architect to empower Intelligence Community (IC) customers to harness the potential of Machine Learning (ML) and generative AI on AWS Cloud. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge AI/ML innovation that supports critical missions within the IC.

This role requires deep technical expertise in AI/ML and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and internal teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and impactful solutions.

Note: Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and meet all associated security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI/ML and generative AI solutions for IC customers.
  • Design and implement AI/ML architectures leveraging AWS services to deliver automated, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with Specialist Solution Architects (SAs) to address large-scale customer use cases and drive AWS adoption.
  • Create and share enablement materials, such as white papers, blogs, reference architectures, and presentations, to help customers fully utilize AWS ML/AI.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers in selecting and integrating AI/ML tools, including Natural Language Processing (NLP), classification modeling, generative AI, and image recognition.
  • Support field enablement by training SAs on AWS ML solutions and integrating these into broader customer architectures.
  • Engage with senior engineers, AWS service teams, and customers to influence roadmaps and foster innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in:
    • Design, implementation, or consulting in IT applications and infrastructures.
    • Software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or data and analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in AI, ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience building AI models in real-world environments and integrating them into production applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP).
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in:
    • Software development or Internet-related industries.
    • Migrating legacy systems to cloud environments.
    • Working with AWS technologies.
  • Expertise in leveraging Python for data science and AI/ML projects.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with diverse audiences, from developers to executives.
