The Team

Deloitte’s Government and Public Services (GPS) practice delivers cutting-edge solutions with a focus on innovation, strategy, and impact. Our Digital Customer Offering helps public sector clients transform their customer interactions, leveraging Salesforce to design, develop, and deploy digital products that drive measurable results and greater adoption.

Work You'll Do

As a Salesforce Developer, you will:

• Design and develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements.
• Automate processes using Salesforce tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Flows, and Formulas.
• Build and integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Migrate configurations from development to production environments using Salesforce DX, Jenkins, and ANT.
• Perform data updates/migrations using tools like Data Loader.
• Adhere to coding standards, write clean, maintainable code, and achieve 85% test coverage through unit/integration test cases.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings, analyze user stories, and resolve functional gaps.
• Debug and resolve issues or defects in production environments.
• Assist in writing technical approach and design documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of Salesforce Development experience.
• Expertise in developing and implementing solutions on Salesforce Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce customizations: APEX Classes, Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components, etc.
• Proficiency in Salesforce automation tools, including Process Builder, Workflows, and Flows.
• Ability to travel 20–50%, depending on project needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance for the role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Salesforce professional (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Developer).
• Proactive approach to enhancing Salesforce systems and adhering to best practices.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing for bulk operations.
• General web development experience in languages such as JavaScript, .NET, SQL, HTML, CSS, SOAP-based web services, and XML.
• Active engagement in the Salesforce community.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $114,000 to $160,000 (varies based on experience, skills, and location).
• Eligibility for discretionary annual incentive programs based on individual and organizational performance.
