Key Duties:

  • Lead the Ballistic Missiles Integration Flight, overseeing intelligence production on threats to homeland security, space superiority, and advanced technology proliferation.
  • Supervise personnel and manage flight resources, ensuring mission readiness.
  • Represent the flight in engagements with contractors, NASIC, Air Force, DIA, and other agencies.
  • Develop, justify, and implement resource utilization strategies.
  • Train and equip staff to meet organizational objectives.

Requirements Qualifications:

General:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Completion of a two-year DCIPS trial period for new employees.
  • Subject to random drug testing and security clearance requirements.
  • May involve shift work, overtime, and travel.

Specialized Experience:

  • Demonstrated expertise in intelligence processes, reporting mechanisms, and interagency collaboration.
  • Knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and Intelligence Community roles, policies, and operations.
  • Proven ability to manage resources, implement organizational change, and lead teams effectively.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  1. Strong understanding of intelligence production, change management, and interagency operations.
  2. Skilled in leadership, team motivation, and building inclusive workplaces.
  3. Ability to develop objectives, manage resources, and evaluate outcomes in high-pressure environments.
  4. Conflict resolution and fostering collaboration in diverse settings.
  5. Strong oral communication and decision-making skills.

Additional Details:

  • Conditions of Employment:
    • Compliance with drug testing, security, and special access protocols.
    • Testing Designated Position (TDP) requiring periodic drug screenings.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Credit for part-time or unpaid volunteer work.
    • Potential eligibility for DCIPS STEM TLMS (Talent Leadership Management System).
