Associate Analyst

Location: Wilmington, DE

As an Associate Analyst, you'll learn our businesses and develop strategic and analytical skills as you drive company growth and customer outcomes. You'll get hands-on experience as you apply your talents, creativity, and passion to create innovative solutions to real-world business opportunities such as launching a new auto loan product, designing our digital engagement strategy, optimizing the workflows for our 5,000+ branch team members, or developing new tools to help our customers when they need it most. No matter the projects, you'll have the opportunity to explore, while learning from experts in consumer lending in a close-knit team environment. Whether you want to develop your strategic thinking or grow your technical analytic skills, you'll leverage the knowledge, skills, and perspectives gained from exposure across multiple disciplines to accelerate your career growth.

In the Role:
  • Apply strategic thinking and analytic skills to solve complex, unstructured business problems.
  • Turn your proposals into reality by working cross-functionally to get them deployed.
  • Actively contribute to our team's vibrant culture through sharing knowledge, helping peers, and generally being a great person to work with.
  • Develop creative technical solutions to improve the company's decision making, the customer's experience, and shareholder returns.
Requirements:
  • Current Masters or Bachelor's degree student with an expected graduation date between Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 in a technical discipline (examples: Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Biostatistics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Data Analysis, Computer Science).
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics and concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Innovative and capable of developing creative solutions to complex, data-driven problems.
  • Proven experience (in an academic, athletic, volunteer, or employment context) working with teams of diverse individuals to deliver complex projects.
Preferred:
  • Successful candidates will possess strong analytic, strategic thinking, communications, and leadership skills.
  • They will also demonstrate curiosity, creative problem solving, integrative business thinking, teamwork, and bias for action.
  • Just as importantly, they will be enthusiastic learners who want to tackle real-world challenges.
