Job Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a Customer Solutions Manager to join the World Wide Public Sector National Security Sales Team. In this critical role, you will support U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) customers on their journey to adopt AWS cloud solutions for their mission-critical needs.

As a trusted advocate, you’ll partner with account teams and customers to drive programmatic and technical support, enabling cloud adoption and optimization. This role requires deep familiarity with USIC infrastructures, policies, and operational requirements, combined with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This position is on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, with a requirement for TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with USIC leaders and mission owners to understand technical and operational requirements.
  • Facilitate customer engagements, moving projects from concept to actionable programs on AWS.
  • Provide programmatic and technical guidance for workload optimization and migration.
  • Act as a customer advocate, maintaining the Product Feature Request (PFR) portfolio and driving roadmap prioritization.
  • Coordinate AWS resources to resolve blockers, remove barriers, and deliver results.
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project status, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with account executives to seamlessly transition opportunities into active workloads.
  • Build and maintain relationships with AWS leaders across engineering, technical, and business teams.
  • Obtain AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification within six months of hire.

Why Join AWS?

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in driving technology initiatives, with at least 5+ years in customer-facing roles delivering technology transformations.

  • Strong understanding of AWS/cloud fundamentals.
  • Effective communication skills, including presentation, risk management, and progress reporting.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in external customer-facing roles, particularly in the National Security or Government sectors.
