DevSecOps Software Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * CACI is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Huntsville Alabama team supporting DevSecOps transformation within U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC)! Responsibilities * Provide on-site and remote assistance to functional stakeholders to support training, upskilling, and culture change as the customer organization continues their DevSecOps transformation. * Collaborate with existing projects and programs to analyze, asses, and identify opportunities for enhancements /improvements based on lean-agile software development and DevSecOps principles and best practices. * Communicate with project leadership and/or government lead stakeholders concerning the status of current and planned tasks and efforts. Required Qualifications: * Active Secret Clearance * 14+ years of industry experience * 3+ years with development, integration, and/or testing of complex software systems for Department of Defense projects or systems. * Experience with Lean-Agile Software Development principles and best practices. Preference towards candidates with Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile coaching/mentorship experience. * Experience working within Application Lifecycle Management tools including GitLab, Atlassian, and/or Azure DevOps. * Preference towards candidates with experience developing or configuring systems policies, work items, workflows, pipelines, etc. * Experience working with software source code management tools such as Git and Subversion. Preference towards candidates familiar with modern software branching strategies (e.g. trunk-based development, feature branching, etc.) * Experience with Engineering Lifecycle Management across various lifecycle phases (e.g. pursuit, planning, development/execution, release, sustainment, etc.) Desired Qualifications: * Experience with DevSecOps tool chains / tech stacks used to create automated CI/CD pipelines• Experience developing, designing, and/or testing systems which leverage containerization technologies or microservices based architectures. * Experience with test automation and/or automated test scripting * Experience developing, integrating, and/or testing software systems subject to airworthiness or safety regulations and requirements. * Active or previous certifications related to Agile Software Development (e.g. Product Owner, Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, etc.) What we can offer you: At CACI, our philosophy of employee development and advancement rests on a cultural foundation of providing unlimited and equal opportunity for growth, recognition, and rewards.
