Quality Assurance Specialist Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * What You'll Get to Do: Quality Assurance Specialist: Provides development of project Software Quality Assurance Plan and the implementation of procedures that conforms to the requirements of the contract. Provides an independent assessment of how the project's software development process is being implemented relative to the defined process and recommends methods to optimize the organization's process. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation. Develops and implements procedures and test plans for assuring quality in a system development environment which supports large databases and applications. Assures all contract deliverables are satisfied. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Bachelors' degree in engineering related discipline, at least 8 years' experience of increasing responsibility in DOD quality assurance functions.
* Eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) position appropriate level of security clearance.
