Program Support Specialist Job Category: Project and Program Management Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * Opportunity: CACI is looking for a Program Support Specialist to join a dynamic IT team supporting a government customer in a high-impact role, where you will coordinate priority projects, manage communications, and oversee daily operations for the Director of IT. This position offers the chance to work directly with a government customer, develop data-driven insights, and contribute to key administrative and program management functions in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Executive Support: Provide direct support to the Director of IT, managing their schedule, priority projects, and daily correspondence. Ensure projects are on track and tasks are progressing as required.
Data Visualization & Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using software such as PowerBI and Visio to support decision-making.
Administrative & Program Management: Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, taking minutes, onboarding new personnel, and drafting newsletters and all-hands communications.
Data Collection & Analysis: Conduct data calls to gather metrics on department hardware and software needs, analyzing data to inform procurement decisions.
Tier 1 IT Helpdesk Support: Provide direct-to-user support, fulfilling requests such as issuing government devices, creating accounts, managing assistance tickets, and supplying peripherals as needed.
SharePoint & Document Management: Edit and maintain Dept 80 SharePoint sites, manage distribution lists, update organizational charts, and ensure all content is current and accessible.
Media Transfer Agent (MTA) Coordination: Oversee the Dept 80 MTA program by onboarding new MTAs, maintaining reporting procedures, and updating machine inventories and access forms.
Documentation & SOP Development: Draft, edit, and format Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet command templates, authoring and revising documents to improve departmental processes. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree
Executive Coordination Skills: Experience in providing direct support to executives, managing schedules, project priorities, and daily communications.
Data Visualization Proficiency: Skilled in PowerBI, Visio, or similar tools to create data visualizations and dashboards.
Administrative Expertise: Proficiency in scheduling, note-taking, onboarding, and crafting organizational communications.
Analytical Abilities: Ability to perform data calls, analyze metrics, and translate data into actionable procurement insights.
Helpdesk Experience: Familiarity with Tier 1 IT helpdesk functions, including device issuance, account creation, ticket generation, and peripheral support.
SharePoint & IT Systems Knowledge: Experience managing SharePoint sites, distribution lists, and organizational documentation.
MTA Program Coordination: Experience with MTA program management, including onboarding, reporting, and maintaining inventory and access documentation.
