About the Role

Deloitte is seeking an Industrial Organizational Psychology / Behavior Practitioner to support clients in transforming their HR and organizational processes. This role will focus on delivering critical services such as job analysis, career development, selection and position assistance, and occupational management support. The Practitioner will also be responsible for facilitating focus groups, designing and analyzing surveys, and providing support for performance management and training initiatives. This is a dynamic role requiring creativity, technical knowledge, and the ability to stay updated on trends in employee engagement, survey design, and career management.

What You'll Do

As an I/O Psychology / Behavior Practitioner, you will:

  • Conduct job analysis and provide career development support for clients.
  • Assist with selection and position assessments, including occupational management tasks.
  • Lead and facilitate focus groups and design surveys for client needs.
  • Offer performance management and training support to enhance organizational effectiveness.
  • Regularly interact with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and needs.
  • Stay current on the latest trends and practices in employee engagement and training.

The Team

Deloitte’s Human Capital practice supports clients through the transformation of their HR and organizational strategies. This includes using innovative techniques to help our government clients improve performance, engage employees, and address complex challenges. By joining our GPS team, you will have the opportunity to shape key human capital strategies for federal, state, and local government clients, as well as public higher education institutions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with an active polygraph aligned with the end client.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial organizational psychology or behavior-focused roles.
  • 2+ years of experience working directly with clients, offering solutions to their HR and organizational challenges.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in I/O Psychology or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree in I/O Psychology.
  • Prior management consulting experience.

Compensation

The disclosed compensation range for this role is $67,600 - $202,000, based on factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and organizational needs. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, dependent on individual and organizational performance.
