Position Summary:

The AI/ML Consultant role at McKesson is essential for developing advanced AI solutions. Individuals in this position work on using AI methodologies to solve challenging business problems in areas like Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain.

In this role, you will be tasked with researching, creating proof of concepts, designing technical solutions, implementing them hands-on, and optimizing automation systems powered by AI. Effective teamwork skills are critical to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts, to deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance our business processes and results. Strong cloud development skills and experience with AI and automation tools are essential, as well as the willingness and ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge. By focusing on innovation and upholding a commitment to excellence, you will be able to grasp business challenges and deliver value through highly scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish computer vision models tailored for image and video analysis and then proceed with their deployment.
• Engineer algorithms that are capable of detecting, identifying, and monitoring objects in real-time scenarios.
• Upgrade image processing techniques to enhance both accuracy and performance metrics.
• It is essential to verify that the solutions are capable of scaling up to handle substantial data volumes without performance issues.
• Remain informed about the latest progress in Foundation Model research and apply them to your projects effectively.
• Work together with fellow experts in artificial intelligence to develop and implement advanced AI solutions.
• Function within the agile scrum model.
• Coordinate efforts with the engineering team to integrate models seamlessly into production applications
• Acquaintance with data engineering fundamentals such as data ingestion, ETL procedures, and data modeling to facilitate smooth data pipeline operations in Databricks.
• Manage intricate project mandates, timelines, and connections to facilitate harmonious planning and effective completion.
• Engages in continuous self-education to grasp and implement new technology, concepts, and methodologies that are pertinent to the project requirements. Stays updated on the prevailing industry technology trends.
• Records, organizes, and exchanges best practices among various departments in McKesson's automation domain.

The pay range displayed below adheres to McKesson's compensation philosophy and is always compliant with applicable regulations.
