Position Summary:

In the AI Solutions Architect position at McKesson, individuals are crucial in driving the creation of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role involves using AI methodologies to solve complex business challenges in Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain disciplines within the company.

In this role, you will be tasked with researching, creating proof of concepts, designing technical solutions, implementing them hands-on, and optimizing automation systems powered by AI. Effective teamwork skills are critical to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts, to deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance our business processes and results. Strong cloud development skills and experience with AI and automation tools are essential, as well as the willingness and ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge. By focusing on innovation and upholding a commitment to excellence, you will be able to grasp business challenges and deliver value through highly scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Formulate computer vision models aimed at analyzing images and videos, and undertake their deployment.
  • Create and implement computational models for detecting, recognizing, and tracking various objects.
  • Optimize image processing algorithms to increase precision and performance standards.
  • Validate that the solutions are scalable and optimized for handling large amounts of data with efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in Foundation Model research and implement them into your project strategies.
  • Team up with other specialists in the field of AI to provide cutting-edge solutions leveraging collective expertise.
  • Function within the agile scrum model.
  • Work together with the engineering team to ensure the successful implementation of models in production applications
  • Understanding of data engineering fundamentals including data ingestion, ETL operations, and data modeling to enhance the effectiveness of data pipelines within Databricks.
  • Effectively navigate multifaceted project needs, deadlines, and connections to promote synchronized planning and accomplishment.
  • Actively seeks to learn and put into practice new technology, concepts, and procedures that are suitable for the project requirements. Remains knowledgeable about the prevailing technology trends in the industry.
  • Captures, logs, and shares successful approaches with other divisions in McKesson's automation field.
