Are you ready to support critical missions by providing IT and mobile device support to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Far East Command? Deloitte's Core Technology Operations team is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide essential operational and technical support for DoD systems, mobile devices, and IT services across Japan. Work You’ll Do

As an IT Support Specialist, you will:

  • Provide operational and technical support to the DoD Far East IT Division, including support for mobile phone encryption, VPN authentication, Wi-Fi, and conferencing solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between the DoD, OneNet, DISA, and the State Department to facilitate technical solutions across various agencies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems, providing desktop support, systems administration, and mobile device support (iOS preferred).
  • Manage IT service requests, submitting, tracking, and closing tickets on behalf of government customers.
  • Deploy and manage new technologies, ensuring compliance with security patches and configurations.
  • Provide mobile device training and troubleshooting for both mobile and desk phones, ensuring smooth user experiences for all stakeholders.
  • Support remote users with VPN, Wi-Fi, and remote connectivity, ensuring seamless communication and access to critical systems.
  • Assist in hardware, software, and system maintenance, including installing and configuring IT systems, media, and devices.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience providing IT support, systems administration, and mobile device support (at least 1 year with mobile help desk support).
  • Experience supporting DoD program offices, specifically providing help desk support for mobile devices (iOS preferred).
  • Active Secret Clearance required to be considered for this role.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred:

  • Certifications:
    • Security+
    • Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
    • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting telephones, mobile devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Proficiency in initiating, installing, and configuring hardware, software, and media devices.
