The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA. / St. Louis, MO

This person will design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems.

This includes the coordination of system development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.

Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.

Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.
  • Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
  • Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - 5+ years of related experience and/or systems engineering experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required and eligibility to obtain a poly.
  • Linux system administrator and Scripting / Coding experience (Bash, Python, etc.)

Desired:

  • A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
  • Operational support experience, Kubernetes and Ansible experience.
  • Helm charts, Automation and Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng) experience.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ceph storage platform, GitLab

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range for this position is: $89,500-$188,000
