Senior DevOps Engineer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * CACI is seeking a motivated Senior Level DevOps Engineer to augment the CACI Program Management Office (PMO) that is entrusted by the U.S. Government to provide operations and maintenance, and development of custom financial applications. As part of CACI's Intel Application Services, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation's safety, security, and prosperity. You will participate in the process to gather, documents and groom budgetary system requirements and identify opportunities to engineer solutions that address the requirements and inject efficiencies. You will actively participate in associated Agile, Engineering and Operations and Maintenance activities applying a system engineering approach to deliver value against requirements, ensuring they are well defined and actionable by the development and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities: * Understand and support the mission, goals, and objectives of the task order. * Support program personnel to develop and document technical architectures, data workflows, plans, work schedules, and success criteria based on government approved requirements
* Leverage AWS cloud provisioning capabilities to support AMI EC2 deployment activities
* Maintain system accreditation through patches and system upgrades
* Work with COTS vendors to deploy and integrate AWS AMI EC2 instances
* Support use of deployment automation capabilities
* Support updating of site-specific technical documentation
* Support Configuration Management and Continuous Monitoring activities Qualifications: Required: * BA/BS Degree in a Technical field (i.e. Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science) with a minimum 5 years' experience providing operational and maintenance support of production applications, or 7 years of experience in lieu of a degree
* Experience working within an agile sprint team environment using Jira and Confluence
* Ability to creatively collaborate with other program personnel to ensure unified and well-executed goals Working knowledge and hands on experience deploying and supporting the following technologies: * Windows and Linux operating systems
* AWS Cloud services
* Automated deployment capabilities and applications
* Infrastructure foundational services such as Active Directory and LDAP
* Continuous Monitoring
* Active Directory and LDAP
* COTS application integration
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools Clearance required: Top Secret SCI with a recent polygraph Desired: * AWS Certified Solution Architect certification * RedHat Linux certification This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available.
