Job Description

Smile Brands is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Dentist to lead a thriving dental practice. As the clinical leader of your practice, you’ll oversee patient care, mentor your dental team, and ensure exceptional dental services that promote long-term oral health. Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Leadership: Lead a single-doctor practice, ensuring patient-centered, high-quality care.
• Comprehensive Care: Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of oral health needs, from preventive to cosmetic dentistry.
• Team Mentorship: Train and support dental staff to maintain a cohesive and efficient team environment.
• Patient Engagement: Build lasting relationships with patients, providing education and personalized treatment plans.
• Operational Excellence: Work closely with office management to maintain seamless operations.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure clinical standards align with Smile Brands' commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

Required:

• DDS/DMD degree with an active and unrestricted license.
• Proven expertise in general dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions.
• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide a dental team.
• Commitment to professional growth and advancing clinical skills.
• Eligibility for credentialing with dental insurance plans.
• Adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of clinical experience in a leadership capacity.
• Invisalign Certification (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Prolonged sitting and standing as part of daily responsibilities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as needed.
• Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required before employment.
