Job Description:

KPMG is seeking an Associate to join its Federal Advisory practice, focusing on Federal Financial Management. This role supports project lifecycles, evaluates financial processes, and ensures compliance with U.S. Federal standards while fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate:
    • Financial risks and reporting processes.
    • Federal accounting transactions and controls.
    • Business processes and financial statements.
  • Support full project lifecycle, including:
    • Scope definition, business case development, and vendor assessment.
    • Requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Develop client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing reports and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year in Federal financial management or transformation.
    • Experience analyzing and reviewing U.S. Federal financial documents.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, and OMB standards.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • U.S. Government Secret clearance required.
    • Willingness to travel for engagements.
