Chief Engineering Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * CACI is looking for a Chief Engineering Lead (CSE) to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the USSOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES). The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong engineering background in Microsoft Exchange, Cisco Networking, Application Design, Cloud/Hybrid Cloud technologies and Methods, Migration and Implementation. Responsibilities: The CSE will be responsible for supporting systems and applications on a geographically dispersed Windows Enterprise network with multiple types of servers and server applications. Additionally, the CSE will be directly responsible for the effective and efficient operation and interconnectivity of a Department of Defense Network and will execute the actions required to correct deficiencies or shortcomings and to improve system performance and efficiency. The CSE will be responsible for performing and overseeing the management of Windows system administrator functions supporting a global Active Directory (AD) infrastructure. The CSE will provide senior level knowledge and Tier 3 support to the customer, their components, and joint task forces to include Tier 3 infrastructure, design, implementation, troubleshooting, and support that builds, configures, and administers several hundred servers in their area of operation. Additionally, the CSE will provide remote support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required. Routine duties will include but are not limited to: * Provide technical leadership and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise * Act as a resource to team members, participates in team and professional meetings * Coaches and provides input as to the needs of Infrastructure staff * Provide 3rd line technical support as needed * Document system process and architectures Required Skills: * Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and 7 years recent specialized experience working in a geographically dispersed, medium to large network architecture (Bachelor's degree can be substituted, with two additional years experience for 9 total) * A minimum of one the following Microsoft Computing Environment certifications: * MS Security Architect: Expert * MS Dynamic 365 Business Central Developer * MS DevOps Engineer EXPERT * MS Power Platform Solution Architect Qualifications: * Current TS/SCI * DoD 8570 certification (minimum Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level III) Desired Skills: * A minimum of six years of experience managing complex programs in a combatant command or similar multi-domain, geographically dispersed, network ecosystem * A minimum of six years of performance as a Senior IT engineer * A minimum of 10 years managing the development and implementation of new technology, to include the design, integration, migration of network infrastructure and services; maintenance and troubleshooting; and recommending enhancements * A minimum of 10 years of experience leading teams of network, system, and architecture engineers * A minimum of 10 years working with DoD IA policy and guidelines and applying their implications on network architecture design and configuration - ______________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
