UI/UX Designer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The All Spark UI/UX designers create the user interface for an app, website, or other interactive media. They are a key member of a web design team responsible for leading the design of user interfaces and experiences. They collaborate closely with stakeholders, conduct user research, and manage a team of designers. Their goal is to create designs that are user-friendly, intuitive, and engaging. Position Responsibilities:
• Gathering and Evaluating User Requirements: Working with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and objectives.
• Illustrating Design Ideas: Using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to visualize concepts.
• Designing Graphic User Interface Elements: Creating menus, tabs, widgets, and other UI components.
• Building Navigation Components: Developing page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Creating UI Mockups and Prototypes: Demonstrating how sites function and look.
• Troubleshooting UX Problems: Identifying and addressing issues related to responsiveness.
• Adhering to Style Standards: Ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, and images2.
• Testing and Analysis: Conducts vulnerability research, penetration testing, malware analysis and reverse engineering development of computer network operations tools.
• Conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights on user needs and behaviors,
• Developing user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to visualize the user experience,
• Creating high-fidelity prototypes and interactive designs using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Required Qualifications:
• An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• 7+ years of experience as a UI/UX Strategist or Architect for Digital Products
• Experience in collaborating with Product Owners, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters across all projects
• Experience in coordinating design standards across development partner teams
• Experience in standardizing processes and participating in leadership meetings
• Experience in Digital Design Tools, including Sketch, Figma, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Designing UI Elements for Transformation Products
• Ability to become a Subject Matter Expert and the go-to person across the organization Desired Qualifications:
• Experience in Visual Journalism or Studio Art
• Experience as a team lead or in building a team in the Federal Contracting Industry
• UI/UX Certifications
