SAIC is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support the USSF Operational C2 Mission under Kobayashi Maru. This role will contribute to the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and other Government customers' mission systems, applications, services, and data hosted across multiple cloud environments within a global, interconnected, virtualized, hybrid, and enterprise IT infrastructure. The Configuration Management Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and integrity of configurations within SAIC's partnership with USSF.

The position is primarily based in Vandenberg, California, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and El Segundo, California, with a hybrid work situation available.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans to ensure alignment with USSF and SAIC standards.
  • Track and document configuration changes to systems and software, maintaining accurate records within configuration management databases.
  • Coordinate with development, operations, and engineering teams to implement and verify configuration changes.
  • Review and analyze configuration data to ensure compliance with project requirements and objectives.
  • Participate in audits and assessments to ensure configuration management processes and systems are functioning effectively.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on configuration management processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting configuration statuses and updates.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with 9+ years of experience in configuration management within a technology or defense-related environment.
  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, methods, and tools.
  • Experience using Jira®, Confluence®, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Experience in maintaining baselines using Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Required Certifications:

  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Certified Configuration and Data Manager (CCDM) or equivalent certification.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with the United States Space Force (USSF) or within a defense contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as CMPro, IBM Rational, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Target Salary Range: $120,001 - $160,000, based on experience and other factors.

Additional Information:

  • SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis with no deadline.
  • SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters, but customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when working at a customer site.
