Position Summary:

The role of an AI/ML Developer at McKesson encompasses contributing to the development of advanced AI solutions. This position involves leveraging AI methodologies to solve intricate business challenges across various functions such as Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain.

As an individual in this role, you will be responsible for conducting research, testing ideas, creating technical designs, participating in hands-on development, and optimizing AI-driven automation systems. Effective collaboration skills are necessary to work closely with different teams like UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts. The aim is to deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance our business processes and outcomes. Proficiency in cloud development, experience with AI and automation technologies, and a willingness and ability to learn quickly will be crucial. A focus on innovation and a commitment to excellence are important to understand business challenges and deliver value through highly scalable and available automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish computer vision models tailored for image and video analysis and then proceed with their deployment.
• Devise and carry out strategies for object detection, classification, and monitoring through algorithmic means.
• Fine-tune image processing methodologies to improve accuracy and operational performance.
• Confirm that the solutions are scalable, capable of efficiently processing large datasets, and accommodating future growth.
• Keep pace with the latest advancements in Foundation Model research to enhance the quality of your project implementations.
• Partner with AI peers to jointly deliver solutions that harness the power of artificial intelligence.
• Function within the agile scrum model.
• Partner with the engineering team in delivering models for use in production applications
• Competence in data engineering concepts such as data ingestion, ETL handling, and data modeling to optimize data pipeline performance within Databricks.
• Proficiently manage complex project essentials, schedules, and associations to support synchronized planning and achievement.
• Demonstrates the proactive drive to independently learn and apply new technology, concepts, and procedures relevant to project specifications. Maintains awareness of the industry's technological advancements.
• Captures, archives, and distributes successful practices to other McKesson automation teams.
