Licensed Dental Hygienist Responsibilities

  • Perform routine dental cleanings and preventative treatments.
  • Educate patients on best practices for oral hygiene and preventative care.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to develop customized care plans.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, and digital X-rays to deliver precise care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active dental hygienist license.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and patient care practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Open to recent graduates—no prior experience necessary!
  • Experience with digital scanners, digital X-rays, and other diagnostic tools is a plus.
  • A passion for ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
  • Availability to attend occasional virtual or in-person training sessions.
  • Completion of a TB test (required in certain states).
