Job Description:

SAIC is seeking a Chief Acquisition Analyst to provide program management and acquisition expertise for cyber programs within the Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio of the Program Executive Office. This role focuses on shaping acquisition strategies, schedules, and program execution to support cutting-edge initiatives in national defense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquisition and Program Strategy:

    • Advise Program/Project Managers on acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting, and execution.
    • Develop tailored acquisition plans and documentation in line with DoDI 5000.02 and other relevant DoD policies.
    • Assess programmatic risks, contractor performance, and mission achievement.
  • Documentation and Reporting:

    • Prepare program planning and execution documents.
    • Coordinate, draft, and support executive program briefings, status reports, and financial documentation.
    • Deliver monthly financial reports and funding updates to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Program Oversight:

    • Monitor program elements, funding commitments, and expenditures.
    • Provide recommendations on resource allocation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in technical reviews and evaluate contractor milestones to identify progress and risks.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Educational Background:

    • Bachelor's degree with 18+ years of experience in government weapon systems acquisitions or program/contract management within the DoD.
    • Additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
  • Security Clearance:

    • Active Top Secret clearance with an in-scope SSBI/T5 background investigation.
    • Eligibility for SCI and SAP access and willingness to consent to a polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Management, Technical Management, or Engineering.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
  • Experience with National Security Space or Space Control mission areas.

Target Salary Range:

$200,001 - $240,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
