Position Summary:

The Artificial Intelligence Researcher plays a pivotal role in advancing AI solutions at McKesson. This position involves applying AI methodologies to address interdisciplinary business issues in Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain sectors.

In this role, you will be tasked with researching, creating proof of concepts, designing technical solutions, implementing them hands-on, and optimizing automation systems powered by AI. Effective teamwork skills are critical to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts, to deliver intelligent automation solutions that enhance our business processes and results. Strong cloud development skills and experience with AI and automation tools are essential, as well as the willingness and ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge. By focusing on innovation and upholding a commitment to excellence, you will be able to grasp business challenges and deliver value through highly scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop computer vision models to analyze images and videos and subsequently deploy them.
• Formulate and execute algorithms to achieve object detection, recognition, and tracking objectives efficiently.
• Develop image processing techniques to enhance accuracy and overall performance effectiveness.
• Ensure that the solutions can effectively scale to manage large datasets efficiently without compromising performance.
• Stay current with the most recent innovations in Foundation Model research to enhance the effectiveness of your project outcomes.
• Teamwork with AI specialists to provide tailored solutions using the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
• Engage in the agile scrum framework.
• Support the engineering team in implementing models within production applications
• Acquaintance with data engineering principles such as data ingestion, ETL transformations, and data modeling for effective data pipeline management in Databricks.
• Effectively coordinate challenging project requisites, timelines, and interdependencies to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
• Actively pursues learning and utilizing new technology, concepts, and procedures in alignment with project needs. Keeps up to date with the industry's technology trends.
• Documents, stores, and conveys effective strategies within McKesson's automation branches.

The pay range displayed below adheres to McKesson's compensation philosophy and is always compliant with applicable regulations.
