Position Overview

The Supply Program Manager oversees supply and property accountability programs, ensuring effective inventory management, equipment control, and compliance with logistics policies. This role involves utilizing automated systems for tracking inventory, conducting audits, and managing reporting processes to maintain operational efficiency.

Note: This position requires a Secret Clearance and compliance with specific employment conditions detailed below.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) and the Global Combat Support System to ensure optimum accountability of equipment and property.
  • Serve as the Vehicle Control Official and liaise between the NEC and Vehicle Management for effective fleet oversight.
  • Conduct inventory management, stock record accountability, and storage management for all accountable property under LNEC-DIX.
  • Issue supplies and equipment, order replacements, and maintain inventory records.
  • Utilize systems such as GFEBS, Wide Area Workflow, and US Bank Access Online for supply chain operations.
  • Analyze and report overages, shortages, and damaged materials following established protocols.

Conditions of Employment

  • Security Clearance: Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Driver’s License: Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 30 pounds may be required.
  • Travel: Up to 25% Temporary Duty (TDY) travel required.
  • Work Schedule: Overtime, shift work, and weekends may be required to meet mission demands.
  • Financial Disclosure: Submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE-450) upon entry and annually thereafter.

Qualifications

  • Current federal employees under various employment authorities (Army CES, DCIPS, etc.)
  • Veterans and military spouses eligible under specified categories.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level, demonstrating:

  1. Managing organizational supply and equipment accountability programs.
  2. Conducting inventories, maintaining records, and reporting property statuses.
  3. Utilizing automated logistic systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
  4. Ensuring compliance with supply chain management policies.

Education (if substituting for experience):

  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, or related field.
  • Or, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a degree in a relevant field.

Combination of Education and Experience:
Applicants may qualify through a combination of education and experience. Calculate qualification as follows:

  • Divide total months of specialized experience by 12.
  • Divide completed graduate semester hours (beyond 36) by 18.
  • Add the two percentages. If the total equals or exceeds 100%, the requirement is met.
