We are actively seeking a Senior Associate to enhance our Federal Advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyze financial risk, reporting processes, and accounting transactions for federal entities, including their controls.
  • Guide a small team in analyzing financial data and system outputs to evaluate their impact on business processes and controls.
  • Manage project lifecycles, covering scope definition, vendor evaluation, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, testing, training, and implementation.
  • Identify and develop solutions for financial data and system challenges, including posting logic, USSGL compliance, and data management.
  • Review colleagues' work and collaborate with Project Managers on engagement matters.
  • Prepare and analyze reports and findings clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal financial management or transformation.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certifications are preferred.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements or documents for U.S. Federal government entities.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations (FASAB, GAO, FAR, FMR, CFR, Treasury, OMB).
  • Proficiency in data querying, analytics, and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx, Python, UiPath).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support firm engagements.
  • U.S. Government Secret clearance is required.
