Azure Cloud Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * CACI is looking for an Azure Cloud Administrator to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable United States Air Force to transition focus from network operations and on-premises systems and applications to an enterprise based Azure Cloud environment. As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will operate and maintain an Azure based, US Government Information Level 5 (IL5) multi-region enterprise platform for the Dept. of the Air Force. You will work independently on tasks assigned and work with multiple application teams to integrate systems and solutions, triage issues, and prioritize tasks. You must have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively to include answering questions, proactively communicating, and troubleshooting issues within the Azure core infrastructure and application services. You will work with your manager to understand requirements, priorities, and objectives to support the capabilities and direction of the overall solution. This includes participation in development, design, review, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of the Azure infrastructure services. You will ensure product success and will follow all established processes and standards. This role is hybrid with the ability to work from home and the Chantilly, VA CACI site. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for managing cloud workloads in the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for performing various tasks such as planning, designing, managing, supporting, and maintaining Azure cloud computing-related activities. Key responsibilities include: * Deploy and manage Azure cloud resources and infrastructure components using automation tools like Azure CLI, PowerShell, Azure Resource Manager and Terraform. * Security: Experience with best practices for the Azure cloud environments, DISA SCCA and Cloud Computing SRG, Azure PIM, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Conditional Access Policies, Defender for Cloud (DfC), Azure Policy, and Regulatory Compliance such as IL5 and NIST 800-53 Rev 5. * Experience with Azure Governance (Management Groups, Policy, Security Center, Cost Management) * Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and resource utilization issues. * Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts andtemplates to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes. * Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to track the health and performance of cloud resources. Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues promptly. * Backup and Disaster Recovery: Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to protect data and applications hosted in the cloud. * Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Application teams, developers, DevOps engineers, and system administrators, to support application development and deployment. * Documentation: Strong skills in documentation of cloud architectures, configurations, and operational processes and procedures, clearly being able to identify key aspects in your own words, and writing such that others who may not be technical can still understand what is being conveyed. Skills with documenting diagrams with Visio are also preferred. * Ownership: This is a senior position within the program and requires multiple years of relevant experience. It is expected that you work with minimal supervision, are a self-starter can manage your individual tasks and have strong communication skills for partnering and communicating across internal teams to maximize efficiency and success of assigned tasks. Qualifications: * US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret level clearance. * Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 10+ years relevant experience (Additional five years of direct experience can be substituted for bachelor's degree). Specifically, 5+ years direct experience in Azure cloud network architecture or a related role, preferably in a large-scale cloud environment (e.g., Azure and AWS). Experience working with Azure cloud services such as Azure compute (including dedicated hosts) and storage, Azure networking (VNETs, ExpressRoutes, VPN, firewalls, NSGs, routing/route tables, Azure DNS, Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Bastion, Private Link), Key Vault, Network Watcher, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics Workspace, Microsoft Sentinel. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. * Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work well under pressure. * Strong ability to work independently, asking for help/clarification when needed as to continuously be producing solutions for the customer. Required Active Certifications: * DoD 8140 compliance; CompTIA Security+ certification at a minimum applies.
