Job Description:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Consultant to help U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions. You will be part of a world-class technical team, providing expert consulting services and solutions that leverage the latest cloud technologies. As a consultant, you will be instrumental in educating, training, and building cloud solutions for complex and challenging IC customer needs.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cloud technologies and solving technical challenges for government agencies. You will be working directly with AWS customers, helping them to understand and adopt AWS cloud computing solutions, design application architectures, and drive security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consult with IC customers to understand their unique challenges and provide cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies.
• Design, implement, and support serverless distributed solutions, leveraging AWS services and cloud best practices.
• Educate and train customers on cloud computing, AWS services, and best practices for building scalable, secure, and efficient systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met and solutions are implemented successfully.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, advising on architectural decisions and integration approaches to ensure success.
• Engage in deep architecture discussions and solution design exercises to build innovative solutions on AWS.
• Maintain and grow technical expertise, keeping up with the latest developments in cloud computing and AWS services.
• Be actively involved in developing new cloud strategies, driving the adoption of AWS services within the Intelligence Community.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of professional/military experience.
• 7+ years of consulting experience with serverless distributed solutions, including cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, using object-oriented programming languages.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
• Experience in technology/software sales consulting or similar roles.
• Professional experience with AWS, including architecting, deploying, and operating AWS-based solutions.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to the cloud, with a focus on security and compliance.
• Strong understanding of Federal Government security requirements, including ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
• Experience managing highly available data center operations, including networking, server hardware, and storage.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary ranges from $138,200/year to $239,000/year, depending on geographic location and experience.
• Total compensation includes equity, sign-on bonuses, and other forms of compensation, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
