Position Summary:

McKesson's AI Developer role focuses on supporting the creation of sophisticated AI solutions. The team dedicates its efforts to applying AI techniques to address diverse business problems across Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain areas.

Your duties in this role will encompass carrying out research, experimenting with proof of concepts, devising technical designs, participating in hands-on development, and optimizing AI-powered automation systems. Effective collaboration skills will be needed to work closely with various teams such as UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts. The objective is to provide intelligent automation solutions that enhance our business processes and outcomes. Proficiency in cloud development and experience with AI and automation technologies are essential, as is the readiness and ability to quickly learn. An inclination towards innovation and a commitment to excellence are necessary to understand business challenges and deliver value through highly scalable and dependable automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and implement computer vision models to analyze images and videos, followed by deployment.
• Create and implement computational models for detecting, recognizing, and tracking various objects.
• Improve image processing methodologies for heightened accuracy and operational performance.
• Verify that the solutions are scalable and equipped to handle significant quantities of data in an efficient manner.
• Stay abreast of the most recent progress in Foundation Model investigations and incorporate them into your project development.
• Pool resources and expertise with other AI specialists to deliver impactful AI solutions.
• Embrace the agile scrum structure.
• Engage with the engineering team to facilitate the deployment of models within production applications
• Knowledgeable about data engineering concepts like data ingestion, ETL procedures, and data modeling to ensure the efficiency of data pipelines in Databricks.
• Strategically navigate complicated project criteria, timelines, and linkages to foster integrated planning and successful implementation.
• Takes the initiative to learn and apply new technology, concepts, and procedures as needed for the project. Maintains a current understanding of the technology trends relevant to the industry.
• Records, organizes, and exchanges best practices among various departments in McKesson's automation domain.
