Database Administrator Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: CACI is seeking a Database Administrator (DBA)/Management Analyst to be responsible for administering, testing, and implementing complex database systems to support the organization's data needs. You will work on safeguarding database integrity and ensuring optimal performance. This role will provide you the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing to large-scale database projects and supporting the development of secure and efficient data storage solutions. Responsibilities: * Administering, testing, and implementing computer databases to support various application areas. * Coordinating database changes, including structure and data updates, with development teams. Implementing robust security measures to safeguard databases and ensure data integrity. * Maintaining and monitoring databases to optimize performance and ensure availability. * Designing and maintaining AWS database solutions to meet specific organizational needs. * Implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) solutions. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams or working individually to coordinate database development and meet project goals. Qualifications: Required: * Active Secret clearance * Master's degree with ten (10) years or Bachelor's degree with fourteen (14) years of professional experience in database administration, testing, and implementation. * Experience in coordinating computer database changes, implementing security measures, and maintaining databases within an application area. * Capability to work both independently and as part of a team to coordinate database development efforts. * Three (3) years of experience designing and maintaining AWS database solutions. * Two (2) years of experience implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AWS Relational Database Service (RDS) solutions. Desired: * SQL Server certification * AWS Certified Database Specialty certification * Oracle Certified Professional certification * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on database optimization and security * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information effectively * A proactive approach to learning and implementing the latest database management and security technologies. - ______________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
