Job Description:

KPMG is seeking a Lead Specialist in their Federal Advisory Practice to architect and implement modern cloud solutions. This position requires client-facing leadership, technical expertise, and teamwork to drive innovative solutions for federal government clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key advisor for designing and implementing modern cloud architectures.
  • Create and maintain architecture diagrams for applications, platforms, and infrastructures.
  • Utilize automation tools for cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Leverage containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes) and cloud scripting for optimization.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud system performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for cloud infrastructure issues and customer queries.
  • Stay updated on cutting-edge cloud trends and technologies to ensure effective solutions.
  • Manage team responsibilities and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • At least 5 years in Cloud Engineering; federal consulting experience preferred.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree (required), Master’s preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in AWS (architectures, production infrastructure, and applications).
    • Proficiency with Python Scripting, PySpark, SQL, AWS Glue, and AWS networking.
  • Other Requirements:
    • U.S. Government Secret Clearance required.
    • Ability to travel for firm engagements.
