Position Overview

SAIC is seeking multiple Systems Engineers to support the U.S. Army's Mission Command Information Systems (MCIS). These roles involve providing systems engineering, integration, and training to enhance soldiers’ knowledge of MCIS, including capabilities, applications, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and operations within a network topology.

Available Locations:

  • Fort Bliss, Texas
  • Camp Shelby, Missouri
  • Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver platform and tactical training on systems such as:
    • Command Post of the Future (CPOF)
    • Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE)
    • Joint Capability Release (JCR)
    • Joint Battle Command Post - Platform (JBC-P)
    • Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A)
    • Newly fielded systems
  • Utilize operational and technical expertise to provide comprehensive training and support.
  • Sustain the simulated environment, analyze real-world scenarios, and troubleshoot issues affecting MCIS system communication and performance across tactical LAN/WAN operations.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
    • Extensive experience with Mission Command Information Systems.
    • Prior U.S. Army experience in recent contingency operations.
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Certifications:

    • Must hold a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.).
  • Security Clearance:

    • Must be able to obtain a full Secret clearance. An Interim Secret clearance is required before starting, which SAIC will assist in obtaining.
    • U.S. citizenship is required.

  • SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters but adheres to any vaccination requirements at customer sites.
  • Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis with no deadline.
