Position Summary:

The role of an Cloud AI Developer at McKesson encompasses contributing to the development of advanced AI solutions. This position involves leveraging AI methodologies to solve intricate business challenges across various functions such as Finance, Operations, Accounting, and Supply Chain.

In this job, you will be in charge of researching, experimenting with proof of concepts, designing technical solutions, engaging in practical implementation, and enhancing AI-based automation systems. Effective teamwork skills are necessary for collaborating closely with various teams like UX Design professionals, the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), and Quality Analysts. The objective is to provide intelligent automation solutions that improve our business processes and outcomes. Proficiency in cloud development and experience with AI and automation technologies are essential, along with a readiness and ability to quickly acquire new knowledge. A focus on innovation and a dedication to excellence are critical to understanding business challenges and providing value through highly scalable and dependable automation solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Build computer vision models designed to analyze images and videos and then carry out their deployment.
• Create and execute processes for detecting, identifying, and monitoring objects within a given environment.
• Refine image processing strategies for enhanced accuracy and performance outcomes.
• It is essential to verify that the solutions are capable of scaling up to handle substantial data volumes without performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest innovations in Foundation Model research and implement them into your project strategies.
• Join forces with other AI specialists to collectively produce and deploy AI-driven solutions.
• Adhere to the agile scrum guidelines.
• Engage with the engineering team to facilitate the deployment of models within production applications
• Understanding of data engineering fundamentals including data ingestion, ETL processes, and data modeling to enhance the functionality of data pipelines in Databricks.
• Effectively coordinate challenging project requisites, timelines, and interdependencies to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
• Demonstrates the proactive drive to independently learn and apply new technology, concepts, and procedures relevant to project specifications. Maintains awareness of the industry's technological advancements.
• Documents, stores, and conveys effective strategies within McKesson's automation branches.
