Business Systems Analyst Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: Support Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Transformation Office operations to include facilitation, data analytics, SharePoint maintenance and development, and business operations. Work with users to gather requirements and build business application solutions using the customer's Flank Speed M365 Power Platform. Work with customers and other analysts to develop metrics to monitor the current status of active projects and target opportunities for improvement. Gather data, develop metrics and dashboards, provide analytical support, and create a wide range of graphic-based presentations to support evaluation of performance and progress toward established goals. Provide objective information for data-based decisions that impact Shipyard operations. Work site is primarily on the customer site; on occasion at the CACI site or home site (with prior arrangements) . Responsibilities: * Engage with customers and facilitate the process to identify, understand, and define customer requirements. Develop, recommend, and implement solutions. * Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Research new methods or practices for application to customer support and provide recommendations.
* Produce functional design specifications based on user requirements. Configure and design functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions). * Collaborate with subject matter experts to meet customer needs and contract requirements. Facilitate support processes that improve system performance and reliability.
* Influence others regarding system design, solutions, and procedures.
* Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required: * Must be a United States Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance.
* Bachelor's degree and a minimum 5 years of work experience in software systems and business processes. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 8 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. * Minimum 3 years of experience creating professional graphic-based presentations using Tableau, Power BI, or other visual analytics software.
* Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes. * Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently. Desired: * Ability to build solutions with M365 Power Platform development. * Experience in SharePoint design/development.
* Experience with graphic design.
