Duties:
- Assist with the review of procurement documents to ensure completeness, compliance with regulations, and suitability for simplified acquisition procedures.
- Determine competition requirements, appropriate procurement methodologies, and contract terms.
- Prepare procurement documentation that complies with applicable laws and policies.
- Assist with post-award actions such as modifications, option exercises, price, quantity, or delivery changes, and cancellations.
- Conduct market research to assess procurement history and identify sources.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be suitable for federal employment and pass a security clearance process.
- Participate in direct deposit pay program.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area is required within specified timeframes.
- May require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Qualifications:
- General Experience: At least three years, including one year at the GS-04 level or equivalent in the public or private sector. Experience should demonstrate involvement in technical data gathering related to contracts, production, or procurement.
- Education Substitution: A Bachelor's Degree can substitute for the required experience.
