Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Operations Center Dispatcher. The Security Operations Center Dispatcher has high visibility and is directly accountable for the effective and efficient flow of information from the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Control Rooms to the Corporate Security Management. The SOC is a 24/7 operation which provides the Security Operations Team with a comprehensive monitoring approach to provide broad visibility of activity across the enterprise, leverages intelligence from several systems and technology databases that provide advanced correlation, and analysis capabilities to deliver a prioritized list of actionable security incidents to the Security Operations Team. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN **Must have a minimum of 1-year law enforcement, security, or military experience** **Must have hold a current Secret clearance for this position** **Previous Dispatch/Call Center experience required** Pay Rate: $23.88 Hourly OVERNIGHT POSITIONS ONLY Uniforms and Equipment provided at no cost. Permanent, Full Time, Excellent Benefits, Career Progression Paid Training RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism * Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information * Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points * Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel * Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms * Act as a first responder in emergency situations
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience * Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment) * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment * Must possess one or more of the following: * Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site * Prior military experience * Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills * Exceptional customer service skills * Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): * Prior law enforcement or armed security experience * Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
