Job Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking technical consultants passionate about driving cloud innovation within the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC). In this role, you will design and implement cutting-edge solutions using AWS technologies, ensuring secure and scalable systems for mission-critical operations.

This position offers the opportunity to work with world-class engineering teams, solve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with customers to architect state-of-the-art cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with USIC customers to design and implement AWS-based cloud solutions.
  • Facilitate deep-dive technical discussions and architecture reviews to meet customer goals.
  • Support the migration and transformation of legacy systems to modern cloud infrastructures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal security standards such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, educating and training teams on AWS services.
  • Engage with AWS teams across product and service lines to innovate and deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging AWS technologies to offer the latest solutions to customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications.
  • 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
  • Technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience architecting and operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience migrating legacy systems to cloud-based solutions.
  • Deep understanding of Federal Government security requirements for applications, servers, and networks.
  • Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, or equivalent.

Compensation:

  • Base salary ranges from $118,200 to $204,300/year, depending on location and experience.
  • Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full suite of benefits.
