Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Oral Care Specialist to join our collaborative and fun dental team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering outstanding oral health care, educating patients, and promoting optimal oral hygiene practices. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive oral health evaluations and perform professional dental cleanings.
  • Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and preventative care strategies.
  • Partner with dentists and the dental team to develop personalized care plans for patients.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, such as Velscope and Diagnodent, to identify and address oral health issues.
  • Accurately document patient screenings, medical histories, and treatments in electronic medical record systems.
  • Ensure a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment for patients and team members.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active dental hygienist license.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of oral care procedures, patient assessments, and documentation standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Open to new and recent graduates—prior clinical experience not required!
  • Experience with tools like digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic health record systems is a plus.
  • Eagerness to grow your clinical skills and deliver preventative care.
  • Passion for helping patients maintain and improve their oral health.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without accommodations.
  • Comfortable sitting or standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as necessary.
  • Willingness to attend periodic virtual or in-person training sessions.
