Healthcare Solutions Director

Job Description:

KPMG is seeking a Director to join its Federal Advisory practice, focusing on Healthcare Solutions. In this leadership role, you will provide strategic direction, guide technical staff, and manage complex healthcare projects for federal clients. This role involves overseeing project life cycles, developing budgets, and ensuring the delivery of data-driven solutions to improve healthcare management and policy.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Coaching: Guide technical staff and senior leadership, providing strategic and operational direction while mentoring junior team members.
• Project Management: Oversee the full project life cycle, including resource allocation, scheduling, and operational management, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Financial Oversight: Develop project budgets, forecast financial performance, track savings opportunities, and manage cost avoidance strategies.
• Data Analytics: Lead the development and implementation of complex data analytics deliverables, generating actionable insights to support program operations and transformation.
• Client Strategy: Advise clients on the best strategic course of action based on data analysis, delivering impactful, data-based responses to abstract business questions.
• Regulatory & Policy Expertise: Provide insights and solutions related to federal healthcare policies and manage health program administration.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in federal government leadership, health policy, and health management consulting.
• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with APIs (preferably Data APIs or Salesforce APIs) to access and retrieve data.
  • Experience with software such as Python, Alteryx, or other data management tools.
• Clearance:
  • Must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government Security clearance.
• Travel:
  • Ability to travel as required for firm engagements.
