Infrastructure / Systems Engineer Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 25% Type of Travel: Continental US Anticipated Posting End: 4/6/2025 Opportunity: CACI is seeking Infrastructure/Systems Engineers in Sterling, Virginia. This role will support the corporate infrastructure across multiple sites across the country. Travel may occasionally be requested. Responsibilities: * You will install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems. * You will install, configure, and maintain VMWare . * You will install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint. * You will install, configure, and maintain applications such as Skype, Jira, Confluence.
* You will analyze and resolve hardware and software problems associated with Windows Server operating systems. * You will monitor Windows Server systems performance and ensure compliance with security standards. * Perform security mitigations using Nessus scans.
* Provides guidance to lower tier technicians and specialists. * Assist senior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activities when necessary. * Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to senior technicians and management. * Provide after-hours support for scheduled maintenance events and outages when necessary. * Troubleshoot and configure components to include multi-vendor servers, storage devices, and other infrastructure devices . Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 7 years of System Engineering and Administration experience.
* Security+ or equivalent certification.
* Microsoft Windows Server Administration experience to include management, patching and updating the server operating system.
* VMWare Administration experience to include management, patching and updating the VMWare environment.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
* Strong desire and willingness to learn.
* Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills.
* • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Must have an active TS clearance with CI poly and SCI eligibility Desired: * Experience with Skype for Business * Experience with Microsoft SQL * Experience with Microsoft MECM/SCCM * Experience with McAfee/Trellix products * Experience with security mitigations. * Experience with backup solutions such as Nakivo and Commvault - _____________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
