We are actively seeking a Senior Associate to join our Federal Advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting, and accounting process controls related to federal entities.
  • Research and advise clients on the application of federal standards, policies, regulations, and technical guidance.
  • Identify and propose corrective actions for reconciliation issues involving posting logic, USSGL compliance, A-136, and financial management optimization.
  • Support engagements in generating reports, performing reconciliations, and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for accounting issues and methodologies, including their impact on financial statements.
  • Conduct complex accounting analyses of transactions and balances related to financial statements and trial balances.
  • Contribute to the design, preparation, and analysis of reports and findings clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in federal financial management, reporting, auditing, or audit readiness.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; CPA, CGFM, or CDFM certifications preferred.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements for U.S. Federal government entities, with knowledge of USSGL.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations such as FASAB, Treasury, GAO, and OMB.
  • Experience in analyzing financial and systems processes and controls.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support firm engagements.
  • U.S. Government Secret clearance is required.
