The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to assist in developing data analysis products while streamlining processes in support of the NAVSEA 04X Ship Maintenance Performance Group NAVSEA04X3 Division, which focuses on Corporate Metrics and Data Analytics, Business Process Reengineering, Operations and Facilities and Equipment Maintenance project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in developing and implementing project management strategy across the division.
  • Use Microsoft 365, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI other software as needed to Develop and Implement Metrics and Dashboards.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly status updates to the Data Analytics Manager.
  • Use Microsoft Project and other software as needed to track and ensure deliverables are accomplished on time.
  • Improve efficiency by streamlining processes and automating redundant tasks using PowerBI, PowerAutomate and available technologies.
  • Analyze large and complex data sets and support end-users by enhance information through developing visualizations through dashboards, metrics and user interfaces.
  • Perform necessary data mapping, data lineage activities, document information flows and process diagrams.
  • Serve as data and metric processing subject matter expert also demonstrating and understanding key data management principles and data use.

Qualifications:

Required/Desired:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Business, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or Data Science
  • At least 5 years of experience in Naval Maintenance to include the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
  • At least 5 years of continuing education in subject matter areas relevant to Section Metrics and Data Analytics Task Areas.
  • At least 5 years as highest-level DBA technical expert, performing analysis for maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, and integration of systems through database design.

Pay Range:

The proposed salary range for this position is: $68,400-$143,700
